Summary
Over a hundred thousand troops, exhausted after three days of relentless pursuit, regrouped and organized under Xia Guan Bing Ma Si Zheng. They initially faced food shortages, resorting to slaughtering injured warhorses for sustenance. After reaching the northern border of the Jishi Tribe, they established camp, treated the injured, and held a military parade to boost morale. News of their victory over the ghost tribes was sent to Tian Guan Da Zhong Zai Xia Qi, who eagerly informed Dayu, leading to a celebration and orders for further military action against the Sanmiao rebels. A council was convened to strategize against the rebels, with Xia Guan Bing Ma Si Zheng tasked to lead an offensive against the Hong Shan Tribe. The imperial court aimed to eliminate threats from barbarian tribes by dethroning their leaders and exiling their people. With high morale and reinforcements, Xia Guan Bing Ma Si Zheng prepared the army for the march towards the Hong Shan Tribe, ensuring a swift advance.Full content
