Summary

The Youqiong Clan's troops advance towards the Hong Shan Clan, prompting the Great Lord of Hong Shan to fortify defenses and seek help from the Sanmiao Allied Forces. The Great Lord of Sanmiao, recognizing the urgency, contemplates splitting his forces but fears being trapped by the imperial army. He recalls the Jiuli Clan, which opposes Dayu's reforms and secretly maintains military strength. He suggests the Hong Shan Clan seek their support. The Great Lord of Hong Shan, seeing the merit in this, prepares gifts and sends an envoy to the Jiuli Clan. The Jiuli Clan's Great Lord, upon receiving the envoy and Yi Di's decree, is inclined to assist due to their ties and shared opposition to the Xia family. After a persuasive speech, he rallies his clan to mobilize forces to aid the Hong Shan Clan, preparing for war against the imperial army.
