Chapter 98: "The North Wind Chasing the Moon, Blood Stained Youyan". [100]

Summary

The chapter details a military pursuit led by the Xia Guan Bing Ma Si Zheng, where the light cavalry of the Ghost Tribe chases the retreating Youqiong Clan soldiers. The Ghost Tribe's forces feign an attack to cover their withdrawal, prompting the Youqiong Clan to prepare for defense. Realizing the enemy's true intention, the Youqiong elder organizes a counterattack, inflicting casualties on the retreating forces. The central court's army joins the pursuit, leading to a chaotic rout of the Ghost Tribe's allied forces. The Youqiong light cavalry excels in the chase, while the heavy cavalry converts to light cavalry to enhance their speed. After relentless pursuit, the Youqiong forces encounter exhausted enemies, some of whom manage to escape. The pursuit continues for three days and nights until the army reaches a dense forest, where they finally cease their chase, completely worn out.
