Summary

Mei Lun approaches Blooming Flower Town, which is heavily guarded, and manages to slip through unnoticed. Upon entering, he meets Sir Wright, who reveals that Mei Lun's parents were part of an adventuring group aiming to overthrow the Ke Luo Kingdom, but they have passed away. Sir Wright hints that they ventured into another realm for something important and leaves Mei Lun with a message about seeking truths when he attains legendary power. Sir Wright explains the significance of legendary powerhouses and the risks involved in absorbing their legacies. He warns Mei Lun that he will be targeted by the Dark King, a legendary powerhouse whose legacy Sir Wright is trying to absorb. Mei Lun decides to flee from Blooming Flower Town, realizing the need to distance himself from the impending danger. He travels to Dan Mu City, gathers supplies, and encounters shadow monsters while escaping. With the help of his companion, Doggie, and Hong Lian, he fights off the shadow monsters that reform after being defeated.
