Chapter 76: Dead Drunk. [77]
Summary
Li Su's journey to Chang'an was tumultuous, and upon entering the Cheng Family's estate, he felt his fate hanging in the balance. The Cheng Family set up a banquet with exquisite dishes and Sanle Jiang wine, a luxury only affordable to the nobility. Li Su, having never tasted wine before, was coerced into drinking by the Cheng brothers. Underestimating the wine's strength, Li Su mocked the Cheng Family, claiming their precious wine was just fruit juice. However, after drinking, Li Su's vision began to blur, and he eventually blacked out. The next day, Li Su woke up with a pounding headache and hazy memories. He was met by Cheng Yaojin, who revealed that Li Su had disclosed his life savings were taken by an investment company and offered to help him take revenge. Furthermore, Cheng Yaojin presented a paper, allegedly signed by Li Su, agreeing to set up a wine brewery and split the profits 50-50. Li Su's face turned deathly pale as he realized the consequences of his actions while drunk.Full content
