Summary

Song Yue Yao encounters Li Hao, a seemingly ordinary member of the Demon Subduing Division, whom she recognizes as a talented newcomer from the Tanguang. Initially surprised by his identity, she recalls his earlier presence at the Armor Academy. As they converse, Li Hao reveals his impressive combat skills, having recently defeated a group of ape demons, which leaves Song Yue Yao in awe of his abilities. Despite her status as a top genius with a Nine Rank Battle Body, she feels overshadowed by his talent. Their conversation shifts when they notice a signal of a monster attack on the city, prompting Li Hao to leave quickly, flying away with remarkable speed, while Song Yue Yao rushes after him, frustrated that he didn’t take her along.
