Summary

In this chapter, Maki Miyazawa arrives at Sawayama Haruno's house but finds it empty, leading her to snack on instant noodles and chips as she contemplates her empty schedule as a NEET. Feeling restless, she decides to venture out and ends up at the University of Tokyo’s Komaba Campus, a place she typically avoids due to her fear of running into her sister, Mana. As she tries to leave, she is unexpectedly stopped by Uemura Reina, Mana’s friend, who mistakenly thinks Maki is Mana due to their identical appearances. Despite her initial reluctance, Maki is drawn into going to the cafeteria for lunch with Ling Cai, who compliments her new short hair. Meanwhile, Sawayama Haruno, at the cafeteria with Mine Shiori, is preoccupied with texting Maki about food. Ling Cai and Maki's arrival surprises him, as he had not anticipated seeing Maki there, and he tries to decide how to approach the situation, now faced with both Maki and the dilemma of possibly encountering Mana as well.
