The Cold Door Hero

Summary

Wang Dao Qi beats his son Wang Jun for sending someone to ambush the Imperial Censor Li Yan Qing. Wang Jun's mother tries to intervene, and Wang Dao Qi eventually stops the beating. He decides to cancel the marriage agreement with the Cao family and finds a way to get Wang Jun into the military. General Pan Chang De and his wife visit the Wang residence, possibly to discuss a marriage arrangement for their daughter Pan Qian Yun with Wang Jun. Li Yan Qing visits the Pan residence, where he meets Cao Xing and Pan Cheng Yu. Cao Xing mentions that Wang Jun's mother called off the engagement, and Li Yan Qing advises Cao Xing to have his grandfather handle the situation carefully to avoid discord between the families.
