Summary

Taibao Zhen is thrilled to learn that reinforcements from the Five Great Tribes have arrived and orders a secret welcome while maintaining normal military movements to keep the enemy complacent. He spreads rumors about food shortages in Yongzhou to mislead the Ying and Ghost Tribes into attacking, believing the garrison is weak. As the enemy intensifies their assaults, the Yongzhou garrison suffers losses but prepares a strategic trap for the enemy cavalry. The garrison launches a coordinated counterattack, leading to significant losses for the Ghost Tribe and cutting off their reinforcements. The imperial army, now stronger and better supplied, plans to eliminate the local tribal forces outside the Ying Tribe's stronghold. They successfully annihilate these forces, fully encircling the stronghold and forcing the Ying Tribe's military elder to flee.
