Summary

As the Guifang army sought reinforcements from the Lou and Yi tribes to disrupt the Central Army's supply lines, they planned to infiltrate Yingshi and rally support. A Guifang general attempted to breach the Zhenging defenses but was ultimately killed, leading to a morale boost for the Yingshi chieftain, who mobilized forces against the Zhenging garrison. In response, the Zhenging grand marshal sought to bolster their forces and win over local tribes by promising new leadership to those who supported them, which began to yield results as some Yingshi clans ceased their opposition and provided supplies.
