As Bi Fang attacked, Yi Fan unleashed a dazzling milky white aura, clashing with the bird's fiery assault. Despite being injured, Yi Fan absorbed Bi Fang's flames, growing stronger. Bi Fang, in desperation, unleashed a powerful fireball, which vanished upon contact with Yi Fan. After a fierce struggle, Bi Fang escaped, pursued by an old Taoist who failed to capture it. Frustrated, the Taoist decided to train Yi Fan and gave him an iron tree fruit, which Yi Fan doubted he could eat.
