Over two days, the fox remains asleep while Yi Fan undergoes rigorous training, which includes chopping stones with a branch. The old Taoist insists on this peculiar training to teach Yi Fan a celestial technique. After half a month of struggling, Yi Fan expresses his doubts about the technique's usefulness.
