Summary

Wang Ning's experiment to test the effects of lead poisoning on prisoners has resulted in 18 out of 30 prisoners falling ill, with 5 deaths. The remaining survivors are pardoned and rewarded. Tian Fang, who had been promoting the elixir as a life-saving medicine, is exposed for not consuming the elixir himself and secretly vomiting it out. Evidence is presented to the emperor, and Tian Fang is arrested for treason.
