Summary

Lu Chen and A Tu encounter a giant octopus emerging from the Longchuan River, which helps them cross the river after expressing its frustration over past debts owed by the wolf tribe. Upon reaching the opposite bank, they notice a decrease in external dangers and A Tu's growing strength as they navigate the chaotic land. Lu Chen reflects on his unique cultivation, feeling stronger than Foundation Establishment cultivators but uncertain against Nascent Soul masters. They meet a human cultivator, who panics at the sight of them, prompting Lu Chen and A Tu to be more cautious. After six days of travel, they leave the chaotic land and approach a secluded exit, closer to the celestial city. Lu Chen recalls a place he used to live and suggests a detour to A Tu, mentioning the small village of Qing Shui Tang.
