Summary

Lu Chen stands by the Longchuan River, reflecting on his past and the loss of Yi Xin. He decides against returning to the Kunlun Mountains due to the dangers posed by enemies from his past, particularly Baldhead, a powerful figure he cannot fully trust. Instead, he chooses to assist A Tu with a task in Xiancheng. As they contemplate crossing the river, A Tu attempts to communicate with the water, eventually spitting out a golden stone given by Tianlang. This act provokes a massive river beast, which emerges from the water, revealing its tentacle and addressing A Tu in a hoarse voice.
