Chapter 243: "Secret Plan of Floating Jade Mountain: Demon King Confrontation". [245]
Summary
The Great Lord of the Huai Mountain Tribe convenes town leaders and military elders to strategize against the powerful bandit Da Li Gui Wang, who has long terrorized the region. Despite the town leader's suggestion to attack, the Great Lord expresses concerns about the bandits' preparedness and the risk of harming civilians. Bai Wa and the military Elder advise against lingering, fearing exposure to the Sanmiao coalition and emphasizing the need to reinforce the garrison. Chang Feng proposes to search for the captured soldiers while the main army advances, and Bai Wa offers to accompany him for support. The Great Lord agrees to their plan, leaving them behind while the Elder leads the troops. Da Li Gui Wang controls a vast area with a large bandit force, extorting locals and raiding tribes, complicating any military response due to territorial disputes and insufficient strength. Ultimately, the Great Lord decides to relocate border residents for protection against Da Li Gui Wang's raids.Full content
