Summary

Seven black beetles, using the Star-Eating Technique, transformed demonic energy into their own aura, growing larger. They attacked a newly born demon, killing it with dark golden spears and devouring it. One beetle mutated after swallowing a magic core, prompting Xu Liao to refine its energy. Over time, they devoured more demons, with several mutating and increasing their resistance to demonic energy. As they ventured deeper into "Inokuchi," they encountered chaotic voids, losing contact with one beetle. Xu Liao sensed they had entered the Demon Prison, filled with bizarre, lively plants. He sent the beetles to attack a seemingly weak demon tree, which ensnared them. Xu Liao quickly reversed the situation, allowing the beetles to escape. After hours of exploration, they encountered a native beast resembling a wolf-tiger. One beetle was ensnared by a sticky pink mist from a demon tree, leading to a confrontation with the beast.
