Summary

The five young men, led by 34-year-old Zhuo Jue, gathered for drinks and discussed their frustrations about not receiving invitations to the Seven-Day War. Xun Jing expressed his desire to fight in the Demon Abyss to break through his bottleneck. Chen Ji explained the difficulty of obtaining invitations, emphasizing that they were often given to older generations who were reluctant to fight. Xu Liao, who had two invitations, contemplated the significance of the event for achieving breakthroughs. As they drank, tensions flared between Chen Ji and Xun Jing, but Xu Liao mediated. Intrigued by the Demon Abyss, Xu Liao decided to send seven Black Beetles down to explore it, using his techniques to enhance their survival against the demonic energy. The Beetles ventured deep into the abyss, transmitting information back to him.
