Summary

In a private room at a tavern on Mount Hua, Lv Ping meets Luo Yu Min, who seeks help to bribe five Zhonglang Generals for Li Yuanji's palace coup. After a failed bribery attempt, they decide to persuade the generals to pledge loyalty to the Zhou Dynasty instead. Lv Ping agrees to approach Wang Zhan, a suitable candidate, with Luo Yu Min's assistance. Later, Wang Zhan meets them and agrees to help Li Yuanji under the condition that he serves as a Zhonglang General of the Zhou army, which Lv Ping and Wen Yan Bo readily accept. Meanwhile, Li Yuanji and his advisors strategize for the coup, relying on Wang Zhan's cooperation at the Xuanwu Gate. Despite concerns about loyalty and shifting patrols, they plan to proceed after receiving alarming news about the emperor's condition, prompting Li Yuanji to give the order to initiate the coup.
