Summary

In the Shu Zhen Courtyard, two officials guarded the entrance while a matron welcomed a newcomer, enticing him to enter. Inside, he observed the grandeur and the indifference of patrons. After ordering wine and a beautiful lady, he found himself overwhelmed by her advances. Pretending to be drunk, he lay still until her hands began to search for his silver ingots. Unable to maintain the act, he struck her and escaped through the window, reflecting on the moral ambiguity of his actions. The next morning, he awoke to the lady's voice, ready to start a new day.
