Chapter 1191: Guanzhong Crisis (3). [1195]
Summary
The chapter describes the strategic significance of the Weihe Dock, which had become a logistics hub for the Guanlong Allied Forces due to its proximity to the abandoned city of Chang'an. Despite the accumulation of supplies, poor planning and a lack of investigation into the dock's condition hindered transportation efforts. Du Gu Changfeng, supervising the unloading of grain, learns of an approaching Tang army led by Li Shi Min. A surprise attack ensues, resulting in chaos among the allied forces, many of whom surrender. Li Shi Min's forces capture the logistics stronghold, seizing vast supplies and weapons, leading to internal strife and blame among the allied generals. As morale plummets, the Guanlong Allied Forces find themselves surrounded, contemplating retreat.Full content
