Summary

In the academy, Ning Chen is astonished to learn that his teacher may have lived over 1,000 years, a feat he finds hard to comprehend. Despite the teacher's frail appearance, Ning Chen is curious about how he endured such hardship. As he contemplates this, he witnesses a giant ape battling monstrous birds. Ning Chen intervenes, showcasing his martial prowess by defeating several birds and saving Mingyue, who is protected by the giant ape. After a brief encounter, Ning Chen discovers a mysterious orb within a bird, which the giant ape consumes, transforming into a smaller, cuter version of itself. The trio, now including the giant ape named Little Huang, continues their journey through the mountains as dawn approaches.
