Summary

In Luling County, Gan Yu raised his younger brother Gan Jue after their parents' death. Jue, talented and handsome, struggled to find a suitable wife due to Gan Yu's high standards. One night, Gan Yu witnessed a terrifying scene where a monstrous man attacked a group of women, and he saved one, later identified as A Ying. Despite their connection, A Ying left without revealing her address. Gan Jue then encountered a maiden named Lu, who claimed a prior engagement with him, causing confusion. Eventually, Gan Yu met A Ying again, realizing her true nature as a non-human entity. Despite her departure, both brothers felt a deep longing for her.
