New Interpretation of Strange Tales.

Volume 1: Hail God. [20]

Summary

Once, historian Tang Ji Wu was tasked with delivering a funeral service and visited the majestic Li Zuo Che Shrine. He encountered a serene pool with red fish, including a unique one. Ignoring a Taoist priest's warning about the fish's dragon origins, he threw a stone, triggering a sudden hailstorm. His brother, Tang Liang Wu, was puzzled by his lack of awareness of the storm. Meanwhile, a vendor at Guansheng Temple, possessed by an unseen force, declared his intent to accompany Tang Ji Wu to Anjia. The villagers, fearing calamity, prayed for the hail god's mercy, realizing the importance of preventing Li Zuo Che's 'descent' to avoid disaster.
