Summary

A fox spirit named Hu Da Gu haunted a family in Yidu, causing constant mischief by damaging their belongings and tormenting the daughter-in-law. Yue, the family patriarch, tried negotiating with the fox spirit, even suggesting a sisterly relationship. A Taoist named Li Cheng Wen was hired to resolve the supernatural disturbances.
