Summary

In a bleak, stormy realm, a one-armed skeleton slowly trudges forward, despite its cracked and tattered form. It encounters a white monster worm that latches onto its ankle, but the skeleton swiftly retaliates, tearing the worm in half and consuming a green light that enhances its vitality, allowing it to continue on its journey. Meanwhile, Shi Mu returns home after a fruitful experiment with Uncle Ju, contemplating the high costs of becoming a Soul Scholar and realizing he lacks sufficient funds for a summoning array. He decides to focus on upgrading a fallen iron black blade into a magical artifact using Golden Lizard venom, enlisting the help of Zhao Ping. At the Zhao family's blacksmith shop, Zhao Ping admires Shi Mu's acquisition of the venom and agrees to assist in refining the blade.
