Summary

Shi Mu, observing a fierce battle between two gigantic beasts, searches for a creature to mark but finds only large worms and scattered bones. Amidst the chaos, three corpse hounds are sent flying by a black bone bird, which then unleashes a powerful yellow wind that scatters the skeleton army. Shi Mu seizes the opportunity to plant a consciousness mark on a one-armed skeleton that survives the attack. After successfully marking it, Shi Mu returns to his body, feeling exhausted yet pleased with his achievement. Ju Pang Zi, his mentor, also awakens, expressing delight at Shi Mu's success. They discuss the potential of summoning the skeleton, and Ju Pang Zi provides Shi Mu with a booklet detailing summoning methods and a bottle of dangerous venom. Shi Mu learns about the Spirit Communication Technique, essential for forming a contract with summoned creatures.
