Summary

Miao Yi experiences discomfort as mantises, raised by an Immortal, crawl inside his clothes, eliciting disgust from Qian Er and Xue'er. Despite their fear, Miao Yi finds joy in controlling the creatures, discovering their ability to swim and their resilience. However, when he tests one, it unexpectedly pierces his finger, releasing a chilling aura that momentarily disorients him. Realizing the mantises possess hidden powers, he contemplates further experimentation. Encountering Qian Er and Xue'er, he decides against testing them and instead targets Heitan, a demon steed, pondering the effects of the mantises on him.
