Summary

In this chapter, the infamous Sanwu General, Cheng Yaojin, impulsively charges into battle against the bandit leader Hong Ren Tao, defying military orders. Despite initial regret, Cheng Yaojin successfully kills Hong Ren Tao with a clever maneuver, leading to chaos among the bandits. The Sui scout cavalry, commanded by Zhang Xuan, takes advantage of the situation, overwhelming the disorganized bandits, who ultimately surrender en masse. Cheng Yaojin faces punishment for his recklessness but is spared severe consequences due to his victory. Meanwhile, Meng Hai Gong and his son Meng Yi lead their troops in retreat, but despite Meng Yi's efforts to regroup, they are pursued and overwhelmed by the Sui cavalry.
