Summary

Li He and He Fang return home to find Yu Lao Tai Tai playing with dogs. After a brief chat, they prepare dinner, but Li Lao Tou's family doesn't return that night. The next morning, Li He buys youtiao from vendors. The narrative explores the challenges faced by temporary workers in big cities, the decline of food coupon values, and the rise of street enterprises. Li He interacts with Li Jia Sheng, who offers a watch as a token of gratitude. They discuss the old family house, but Li He is reluctant to sell.
