Summary

The story follows a group of four friends—Yue Chen, Da Zhi, Peng Xiao Min, and her cousin Tian Lei—traveling on a fast Type 22 train to Yunnan. Peng Xiao Min, fresh out of high school, is excited about the trip, which her family allowed because her cousin Tian Lei is accompanying her. Yue Chen surprises everyone by having booked soft sleeper tickets, which impresses Tian Lei but also raises her suspicions about his relationship with Peng Xiao Min. Da Zhi tries to impress the girls with drinks, while Yue Chen cleverly uses Shen Li Dan's name to justify their trip. As they travel, Bai Man, a stylish woman from Li Chen Group, enters their compartment, catching everyone's attention. She is there as a guide, sent by Shen Li Dan. Although she appears friendly, she harbors a slight disdain for the others, viewing them as less sophisticated. Yue Chen, however, remains unfazed by her attitude, having been briefed by Shen Li Dan about Bai Man's potential arrogance. The dynamics among the group shift as they navigate their relationships and perceptions of each other during the journey.
