Summary

Yue Chen reflects on a recent danger he escaped, realizing the familiar refreshing aura he felt was Wan's spiritual essence. He contemplates her extraordinary constitution, linking it to the ancient furnace body. After leaving the peach orchard, he encounters Wan, who expresses concern for him. He invites her to join him on a trip to Yunnan, which excites her. Later, he talks to his grandmother about the trip, feeling guilty for lying about the company he would have. He crafts talismans infused with spiritual essence for his family, feeling uneasy about leaving them due to a lurking enemy, Sun A Cai. Despite divination results showing no immediate danger for his relatives, he still worries about Su Lan, the target of Sun A Cai, and feels guilty for involving her in danger.
