Chapter 8: Trying the "Bad Luck Sticker"!. [8]
Summary
Zhang Ye sat at his desk eating his lunch, consisting of three steamed buns. He had been adapting to his work environment and doing his job well while waiting for opportunities. However, all the anchors and hosts in the station were talented and skilled, and none of them seemed to be leaving their posts anytime soon. Zhang Ye was then assigned to work with Tian Bin, revising a few sections of a novel that touched on politics. As the afternoon drew to a close, Zhang Ye finished the revisions and also got a chance to read the first few chapters of the novel, which he thought was quite ordinary and clichéd. The deputy from the editing department then arrived, informing Zhang Ye that a live program required a temporary addition of a host, and Zhang Ye was the only substitute host available. However, Tian Bin refused to let Zhang Ye participate, citing his lack of experience in live broadcasts. Zhang Ye was annoyed and argued with Tian Bin, who had not been guiding or sharing his experience with Zhang Ye. The argument escalated, with Li Si jumping in to defend Tian Bin, until they were stopped by older colleagues. Tian Bin and Li Si left in a huff, with Zhang Ye looking at their backs with disdain.Full content
