Summary

Zhang Ye, a fresh graduate from the Broadcasting Academy, started his new job at the Beijing Radio Station's Literature and Arts Broadcasting Department. On his first day, he met with Director Zhao Guozhou, who introduced him to the team. Zhang Ye was greeted with a lukewarm reception, and his colleagues seemed skeptical about his abilities. He was assigned to sit near the entrance, close to the water cooler, and was told to familiarize himself with the place. Zhang Ye tried to interact with his colleagues, but they seemed uninterested in him. He later overheard a conversation between Tian Bin, a broadcaster, and his wife, where they mocked Zhang Ye's looks and doubted his ability to succeed as a radio host. Despite feeling frustrated, Zhang Ye decided to face the challenge head-on and prove himself.
