Summary

In the Great Song Dynasty, Di Qing, a master of military strategy, is on high alert during the Wan Shou celebration after surviving a previous assassination attempt. He has set up a network of spies throughout the capital, monitoring the situation closely. During the celebration, Searle warriors ambush Wang Ning An, but Di Qing leads his imperial guards to a fierce battle, ultimately defeating the attackers despite suffering casualties. After the fight, Di Qing discovers that the assassins had taken medicine to enhance their strength, linking the attack to Ma Mu Liu Ke and the Searle Empire, who are likely trying to thwart the Great Song's military ambitions. As news of the assassination attempt reaches the palace, Zhao Shu orders all imperial guards to mobilize, but protocol delays their response. Meanwhile, Wang Ning An, anxious about a potential threat to his lover, disregards protocol and rushes out of the city, leading to a frantic chase as Zhao Shu realizes the urgency of the situation.
