Summary

Gou Ya Er believes there are feelings between his father and his master, Xiao Guan Yin, despite no marriage rumors. Time worries him as both grow older. One day, a child named Wan Yan Ying Ge appears, causing Gou Ya Er to mistakenly think he is the master's child. Xiao Guan Yin angrily clarifies that Wan Yan Ying Ge is the fifth son of Wan Yan Wu Gu Nai and has no connection to her or Gou Ya Er's father. Xiao Guan Yin explains her past support for the Wan Yan clan and their downfall due to arrogance, leading to the need to protect Wan Yan Ying Ge. She believes that training him in martial arts will prepare him to avenge his family. Gou Ya Er warns her that supporting the Jurchens could lead to greater danger for the Great Song.
