Chapter 78: The War Of Dragon and Lion (Part 5). [698]

Summary

More than 20 days after returning from New Nia airspace, the fleet had over 50 new ships needing more than 3,000 crew members, but only 1,000 experienced sailors were recruited. Commanding officers Zheng Bo Shi, Gao Boss, Du Bo, and Wei Si Te were worried, especially Wei Si Te, who sought to apologize to Yue Chen, who reassured him. Yue Chen rejected the idea of recruiting from Alan Star, leaving the officers confused. Suddenly, 34 repaired ships appeared, startling the officers. Zheng Bo Shi connected with a battleship, finding Yue Chen aboard. The officers were teleported onto the battleship, which had been granted to Yue Chen due to the "friendly forces' lawful recovery principle." They were shown the battleship's capabilities, and Yue Chen announced the integration of the new fleet. The officers were astonished to learn they now commanded a powerful fleet, which included ships previously belonging to the Frost Noble Republic. Zheng Bo Shi questioned Yue Chen about potential demands from their ally, to which Yue Chen reassured him, emphasizing the need for caution. Gao Boss encouraged taking risks for strong allies, and Yue Chen explained his ally's special identity and past assistance in avoiding genocide. Yue Chen stressed the importance of secrecy regarding their ally and instructed the officers to keep this information confidential. He concluded by stating they would reorganize the new army and set off towards the Frost Noble airspace in three days, allowing time to familiarize themselves with the new ships.
