Summary

The once vibrant Imperial Palace's treasure hall is now shrouded in darkness and silence, haunted by the scent of death. The Wolf King, weary and despairing, awaits the arrival of Chen Wei and Sha Wu Jing. Upon their entrance, both men reveal they were feigning unconsciousness. The Wolf King seeks Chen Wei's help to resurrect his mother using a fragment of Primordial Mysterious Fire. However, Chen Wei refuses, explaining the limitations of the fragment and the dangers of the Wolf King's intent. The atmosphere remains tense as the Wolf King's desperation contrasts with Chen Wei's firm stance against his extreme request.
