Summary

Su Mei, a young beauty, is anxiously waiting in her boudoir for Chu Feng, who has not yet arrived as promised. She is dressed casually in an oversized pink dress, revealing her shoulders. A maid named Little Hong informs her that no visitors have come, which worries Su Mei. When Su Mei realizes that the incense has been changed, she confronts Little Hong, who reveals she was forced to drug her due to threats against her family. Su Mei, feeling dizzy and realizing the poison's effects, attempts to escape but is confronted by Qin Yu, a persistent suitor. He blocks her path, expressing his desire for her and revealing his intentions to take advantage of her vulnerable state. Despite her attempts to resist and threaten him with Chu Feng's name, Qin Yu dismisses her concerns, claiming he will overpower both her and Chu Feng.
