Summary

Chu Feng arrives at Tai Kou's residence but finds him absent, only to discover a note asking him to wait. He patiently waits through the night, determined to speak with Tai Kou about an important matter. Eventually, Tai Kou returns and they share a warm exchange. Chu Feng expresses his gratitude for Tai Kou's past help and contemplates taking him as a master, though he hesitates due to the significance of such a relationship. Tai Kou requests to hear about the events in the ancient city, and Chu Feng recounts everything except for the secret of his divine thunder. Impressed by Chu Feng's abilities, Tai Kou offers to protect Chu Feng's friend, Jiang Wushang, who now possesses an imperial bloodline. Tai Kou warns Chu Feng that someone intends to harm Su Mei, leading Chu Feng to realize that Qin Yu is the culprit. Filled with rage at the thought of Qin Yu targeting his fiancée, Chu Feng prepares to confront the situation, and Tai Kou offers to assist him.
