Chapter 67: The Worried Maiden. [66]

Summary

Zeng Zui Mo is infuriated after a scholar, whom she initially thought was lecherous, ignores her and leaves with a maid. Despite her anger, she tries to divert her focus by asking a friend for osmanthus cakes. Meanwhile, the little maid, Xiao Huan, is puzzled by the term "lecherous man" and reflects on her feelings for the young master, Li Yi. She connects the beautiful sister Zeng Zui Mo with a painting of a woman Li Yi keeps hidden, stirring jealousy and concern within her.
