Summary

Xu Liao shared his plans with King Ying, who agreed to help control the South Sea Dragon Palace if Xu could outsmart the High Priest. Xu Liao returned to Ember Mountain and infiltrated the South Sea Dragon Palace, which he found to be heavily infiltrated by his forces. He discovered six secret locations within the palace, including the control hub and the prison of the South Sea Dragon King. To rescue the Dragon King, Xu Liao needed to subdue one of the High Priest's demon lords, which he planned to do outside the palace. He waited for an opportunity, which arose when Marquis Zhang Ji left the palace, allowing Xu Liao to execute his strategy.
