Summary

Three days later, Shi Mu battles a massive octopus sea beast in a tumultuous sea, ultimately defeating it and extracting its soul for Yan Luo, who absorbs it to stabilize her aura. As they travel to a new location, Yan Luo senses a strong demonic energy emanating from a nearby desolate island. They dive into the sea and discover a deep sea eye filled with rich demonic energy. Yan Luo, excited by the energy, enters the sea eye despite Shi Mu's warnings. They find a golden light curtain containing the demonic energy, which is leaking from a damaged corner. Yan Luo decides to cultivate there, hoping to recover and possibly break through to the holy level. She passes through the curtain, leaving Shi Mu behind, who reflects on the potential benefits of her advancement. Shi Mu's external incarnation, drawn to the energy, attempts to follow Yan Luo and is unexpectedly able to pass through the curtain, allowing Shi Mu to observe the situation below as his incarnation absorbs the demonic energy and grows stronger.
