Summary

Zhai Hong leads two thousand soldiers out of Su Yu County, enraged by insults to his family, but is quickly outmatched by the skilled Su Dingfang and his generals. Zhai Hong's overconfidence leads to his capture, while the Sui soldiers, emboldened by the presence of Wei Chi Gong, rout the Wagang forces. Meanwhile, Yu Wen Hua Ji struggles with the threat posed by General Chen Leng and Zhang Xuan, feeling cornered and anxious. His military advisor, Yuan Min, suggests a strategy to appease Chen Leng by offering him a title from the Empress Dowager, which could resolve the tension.
