Summary

Pei Qintong advises Du Gu Sheng to leave, fearing conflict, but tensions escalate, leading to a violent confrontation. Du Gu Sheng fights bravely but is ultimately overwhelmed and killed by Sima De Kan's forces. Meanwhile, Yang Ji Er attempts to warn Empress Xiao of a coup led by Yu Wen Hua Ji. As chaos unfolds, Empress Xiao tries to protect the emperor, Yang Guang, who is in a weakened state due to a debilitating drug. Yu Wen Hua Ji orders the execution of the royal family, and Sima De Kan leads an assault on the palace, resulting in multiple deaths, including Yang Rang. Pei Qintong, desperate to find the emperor, kills Wei Shi for information and rushes to the Left Pavilion, where Lieutenant Ling Hu Xing Da begins a bloody rampage, killing Zhao Wang Yang Gao and others in his path.
