Summary

Zhong Shi Dao is devastated by the sudden death of his nephew, Zhong Lin, who was raised like a son. Guan Jia reveals that Zhong Lin was murdered, prompting Zhong Shi Dao to seek revenge. Li Yan Qing advises him to remain calm and offers to investigate the matter in the capital. He heads to the Kaifeng Yamen to find Constable Jiang Quan, who had taken Zhong Lin into custody. After confronting Jiang Quan, Li Yan Qing learns that Zhong Lin's death was part of a trap involving corrupt officials. Jiang Quan suspects that Wang Fu Yin is behind the plot. Li Yan Qing decides to let Jiang Quan go, believing he won't report them, and Jiang Quan flees to escape the impending danger.
