Judgment of Dayu.
Chapter 61: "Sanmiao Winds and Clouds: Fiery Shadow of the Cavalry". [63]
Summary
The chapter details the aftermath of Dayu's attack on the Ji clan, leading to the death of the Ji clan's great lord, which incites anger and urgency among the Sanmiao great lord and his allies. The Tiger Guard and Leopard Guard decide to stay and assist Sanmiao against the Xia Qi court army, leading to a consolidation of forces among the three tribes, amassing 160,000 well-trained troops. Anticipating Dayu's regime's threat, they launch preemptive strikes against court garrisons, effectively weakening the enemy's supply lines. Meanwhile, the Xia Guan Bing Ma Si Zheng, overconfident with their numbers, face logistical challenges and fatigue as they march into Sanmiao territory, finding it devoid of court garrisons. As they rest, Sanmiao's cavalry, seizing the opportunity, ambushes the court's vanguard, resulting in significant losses for the enemy.Full content
