Summary

Gao Lie learns from a scout that a cavalry force of over 10,000 has crossed Jing City and is heading towards Hejian County, causing concern for the safety of his own forces. Despite this, he remains focused on capturing Raoyang County and plans to confront Zhang Xuan's main forces. Gao Lie receives news of the Sui army's advance, which gives him some relief, but he is reminded of the approaching cavalry.
