Summary

In the jungle, two characters discover the corpse of a Flood Dragon, realizing they possess valuable materials from another dragon they had slain. They suspect a senior elder helped them by killing the second Flood Dragon. As they investigate, they learn that the Flood Dragons were not targeting them but rather the Young Masters from the Divine General's residence, likely due to resentment from the Demon Race. Meanwhile, Li Hao and his companions arrive in Cangyu City for a demon-slaying mission. They are greeted warmly by the city lord's guards, especially due to their noble status. Upon entering the Demon Suppression Office, they encounter Song Yue Yao, a powerful officer, and learn about the recent increase in demon activity in the area. Despite the warm welcome, Li Yuan Zhao insists on taking their mission seriously, which surprises the others. They receive official robes for demon hunters and request a report on recent demon sightings, emphasizing their commitment to the mission.
