Summary

The Zhang Family's ancient building harbors a dangerous fifth level, where Bai Ze encounters a giant rat and its swarm. Despite his efforts to fend them off with gunfire, the giant rat remains unharmed, leading to a chaotic confrontation. Bai Ze uses gasoline to create a fire barrier, but the rats persist. In a desperate move, he employs a blasting cap, obliterating the giant rat and scattering the smaller ones. The others, previously unaware of the peril, regain consciousness and realize the gravity of their situation. Bai Ze, exhausted but relieved, reflects on the near-death experience he faced for their sake.
